COLORS: Pale Dunmore green with creamy off-white, khaki, taupe, ultimate gray, and charcoal lines.
SIZE: 37″ wide x 1 yard increments with up to three yards available.
CONDITION: At nearly 100 years old it is in remarkably good shape fiber-wise. As an old hand print it does have some slight off-register printing that adds to the charm. Some minor fraying at the selvages but well within a seam allowance. Occasional pin prick hole but nothing notable enough to even capture on camera.
CARE: Hand wash very delicately.
Vintage 1930s Indienne Linen Fabric
This stunning 1930s era fine weave linen Indienne floral has that incomparable old school fabric hand and hand printed technique that lends such gravitas and inherent beauty to the piece.
A very lightweight linen that’s best used for pillow fronts, quilting, or light café curtains. This type print wouldn’t typically be seen on garments but it is a garment weight piece if you wanted to use it that way.
