Description
Listing is for one panel; two panels available.
These 1930s Swiss Dot and vegetable-themed café curtains look like their straight out of Alice’s kitchen in The Honeymooners!
Charming, sheer curtain is flanked at the bottom by a 8″ long fruit and vegetable panel. Let these stunning curtains set the tone for an authentic vintage kitchen in your throwback home. Perfect for Granny Chic!
Stiff, textured Dotted Swiss with a bottom panel that has retained the vibrance of its original coloring almost 100 years later.
STYLE: Café length curtains, rod pocket.
FIBER: Cotton.
SIZE: 31″ wide x 46.5″ long. Bottom 8″ is the fruit and veggie panel.
COLORS: Beautiful, crisp white Swiss Dot with deep plum, China blue, sage green, tomato red, and illuminating yellow.
CONDITION: Excellent! The white is crisply white except…there’s about a 2″ strip going straight across about 3″ up from the fruit panel that’s a little brownish…it’s almost imperceptible. We were afraid to dunk the entire panel into cleaning solution so there’s a VERY GOOD chance this could come out if treated again, or treated more painstakingly. But again, it’s not that visible except in certain light, and even then it is very minor. The Swiss Dot was ALL that color before we worked on them, so again, it’s likely you could get that out of you worked directly on them in exactly that spot. (It’s not the really dark mark, that’s just a shadow).
LISTING: $89.00 per panel.
SUSTAINABILITY: ALL my packaging except tape is 100% re-used. Your invoice is available digitally in your account. I source vintage items and resources either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, which is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
