Dogwood lovers step right up because here’s an unrivaled fabric that you will love! This 1930s/1940s era midweight twill boasts such richly colorful and expressive dogwoods and their foliage in a charming illustrative style. Great for your throwback decor or for Virginia homes/AirBnBs since it’s our state tree.
Midweight fabric that’s a little stiff — less drape — firm hand.
FIBER: Cotton or cotton/linen blend
COLOR: On a dark gray background are white and millennial pink dogwoods with black detailing and foliage in olive, illuminating yellow, minty teal, and ultimate gray.
SIZE: As a scrap the selvages are cut away so I couldn’t decide the orientation — the scrap is 45.5 x 28.75 and you might be able to use it in either orientation if that works for your project. Dogwood blossoms are about 4″ x 4″ and grouped motifs are about 9.5″ x 12″.
CONDITION: Superior! One small undyed spot (pic #8) about 1.5″ long near the edge looks like it was a manufacturing error. Doesn’t affect the main of the piece in any significant way.
All fabrics from the fabrics scraps section are FINAL SALE.
