A set of four scraps of the amazing and rare 1960s David and Dash “Sultana” vintage fabric in mint condition. The colors are vivid and extraordinary!
SIZE: Each of the four scraps is 5.1″ wide x 8.5″ long. (One pic shows what a full size piece of the fabric looks like — it sold out — and the original tag, not included with this purchase).
FIBER: 100% cotton that has been treated with Scotchguard. Thicker fabric perfect for sachets, appliqué, or for heavier weight quilts.
COLORS: Set includes Orange/Illuminating Yellow; Sky Blue/Blue Gray/Red; Brown/Taupe/Navy; Chartreuse/Grass Green/Brown.
CONDITION: Superior! No cardboard or paper backing except a small easily-removed tag.
All sales in this section are FINAL SALE.
Maker: David and Dash of Miami were a mid century textile firm whose label says, “Converters, Importers, and Hand-printers of Interior Textiles; Residential, Contract.” I’m currently reaching out to textile curators and others who may be able to provide me more insight on this obviously important mid century design and textile production firm.
