COLORS: The background is more off-white/natural than pure white. The blues are amazing — navy, shades of teal, midnight, and tiny outlines in shades of olive.
SIZE: Huge! 47″ wide + 2.5″ selvedge on each side x 44.25″ long!
FIBER: 51% linen and 49% cotton. Touch and appearance reads as a linen.
CONDITION: Excellent — one tiny (smaller than a dime, almost imperceptible stain. I couldn’t even pick up the stain with my camera.)
MAKER: Franco Scalamandré has a great story to tell of coming to America in the 20s from Italy and making a huge success of himself.
