Description
Back to the world of earth tones and neutral ease, bliss out in an island oasis with this gorgeous linen/cotton blend fabric from the 1970s. Perfect designer/decorator fabric for someone looking for the 70s laidback vibe!
Made by 5th Avenue Designs, it’s preshrunk and is vat-fastness treated with Scotchgard. The hand comes off as less heavy than a pure canvas or broadcloth in the upholstery sense, but still sturdy enough for pillows, seat cushions, curtains, a screen, etc.
Reasonable dress weight if your garment has some structure.
A light drape.
Beautiful shades of beige blending into low key apricot and peach pit, multiple tones of gray resolving in black, with sky blue. Sober and harmonious olive green rounds out the earthiness. An Indonesian feel with a touch of Buddhist Center/health spa vibe.
I sell in full pieces generally, and not by the yard, but message me if you have a question about possibilities…
This piece is 56″ wide and 4 yards plus a few inches in continual running length.
Shipping is free to the continental United States.
Successfully sourcing what you love and selling it on Etsy fuels my writing and art career. And with my products, together you and I help reduce earth impacts since I source vintage items and resources, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth.
