An unusual selvedge side border print of bursting flower-power era florals against a plain, off-white satin silk/rayon background. Forgive my pics which make it look so wrinkly — it is freshly ironed but getting it to lay flat on my work table was nightmarish.
The piece actually has a lovely smooth hand and drape, and would be charming in some creative application whether using the borders as a kind of trim, or as the bust portion of bodice with the off white as the torso, or maybe little café curtain for a small window or VW bus — you’ll think of something!
COLORS: Ivory/off-white background with deep purple, black, off-white, and turquoise flowers.
Size: 58″ wide by 38″ long.
NOTE CONDITION: There is one “sticky spot” (see pic 5) where someone had applied tape. I think it can be easily gotten out with the right solvent and gentle elbow grease. We don’t have the time in house for that so it’s being sold “as is.”
With my products, together you and I help reduce earth impacts since I source vintage items and resources either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. And since Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, this approach is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
