Description
A very firm handed 1970s polyester stripe. Probably better for making a structured A-line dress, pencil skirt, structured blouse, or shift dress (or super poly pillows or café curtains) than the draping shown in my mannequin photo. Still — the colors are brilliant and Marcia Brady would be proud!
I sourced this and a bit more 1960s/70s fabric along with a bunch late 60s early 70s patterns from a lady with a rich sewing history in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Boy she must’ve been a fashion plate in her day!
Size: 45″ w x 73″

SHOP NOTE: I’m all about sustainability. ALL of my packaging (boxes, envelopes, tissue, ribbons, padding) except tape is 100% recycled. I only include invoices by request to avoid more paper and ink use. Everything from a smoke-free and pet-free studio.
SHOP MISSION: My philosophy is #buyantiquesfirst #buyvintagefirst #buyusedfirst #buyupcycledfirst. It is our duty to not make new demands on the industrial economy and instead to utilize already embedded energy is the quadrillions of products already made and still useable in life today.
With my products, together you and I help reduce earth impacts since I source vintage items and resources either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. And since Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, this approach is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
