This sumptuously woven natural linen vintage tablecloth features “Native Birds and Flowers of Australia.” Perfect for that destination wedding proposal, vacation invite, gift, or an anniversary present commemorating a honeymoon or past visit to the Land Down Under.
Also great for birders and naturalists — features Australian natives such as: Barksia, Red Bloodwood, Pink Heath, Bororis, Wattle, Bottlebrush, Everlastings, Lotus Lily, Christmas Bell, Eucalypt Flowers, Silky Oak Grevillea, Gouldian Finches, Mistletoe Bird, Red Collared Lorikeet, Yellow Breasted Chat, Blue Faced Honeyeater, White Breasted Whistler, Satin Flycatcher, Superb Parrot, and Eastern Shriketit.
COLORS: On a natural, undyed background are colors of sage, grass green, chartreuse, cornsilk, black, ultimate gray, dusty cranberry, burnt orange, ivory, milk chocolate, and khaki.
CONDITION: Excellent overall. There is some extremely mild discoloration near the map (barely visible at all and would likely be covered up by place settings) and one speckled orange stain about 3″ long one one edge. This cloth has been stain treated, washed, and ironed so I can’t say whether the stain would come out any further but it is pretty negligible given the 40+ year age of the piece.
Cloth: 50.75″ x 47.25″
Map, including Tasmania: 15″ x 15″
Flowers range from .75″ to 3″ to 4.5″.
Birds are from 6″ to as large as 12″.
Branches run about 6″ to as large as 15″.
SUSTAINABILITY: ALL my packaging except tape is 100% re-used. Your invoice is available digitally in your account. I source vintage items and resources either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, which is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
