Description
A sweet and engaging floral chintz that evokes the Jane Austen Regency era (or Federal style in America) and would also suggest the 1860s in interior decor. Designed by Joan Kessler for Concord Fabrics, Inc. Made in USA.
Sweet lotus like flowers sit inside a polka dotted array surrounded by vining swirls all across the fabric.
A medium weight chintz/polished cotton in enough available yardage that you could do some café curtains, cover a booth seat and back, re-do a chair, cover two twin sized fabric-covered headboards, etc. Perfect fabric for a grandmillennial look, or a fresh look in any traditional space.
Historic Costumers/Interior Designers: If using as historic costuming fabric the stiffness of the chintz would make it best suited to waistcoats, cuffs, or women’s Spencers.
SIZE: 54″ wide + .75″ selvage on each side x up to 5 yards. Flower motif areas are about 1″ x 1″.
Priced by the yard. Order multiple yardage in the shopping cart window.

SUSTAINABILITY: ALL my packaging except tape is 100% re-used. Your invoice is available digitally in your account. I source vintage items and resources either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, which is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
