Description
The stately lion, king of the animals, is the central motif of this 1998 Brunschwig and Fils upholstery weight fabric titled “Peaceable Kingdom.” Vertical rows of speckled lozenges meant to emulate ermine hold the poised lion while in between each lozenge are garlands of flowers. On the alternating vertical rows are sumptuous flowers and fruits.
Mid weight, firm hand, with a weave that reads more as a linen than a cotton.

SUSTAINABILITY: ALL my packaging except tape is 100% re-used. Your invoice is available digitally in your account. I source vintage items and resources (or in this case, discontinued stock that’s 8 years old) either as they are, or to upcycle into new products, giving them a new life. This reduces demand on current resources, preserves history, and keeps valuable items out of the landfill, all of which asks just a little bit less out of our ever-giving Mother Earth. Etsy buys carbon offsets for all shipping, which is a win-win for the sustainability-minded shopper.
