Welcome to my new feature — apprising you of the latest additions to my shop each week.
The biggest news about this week is that Lady Virginia Vintage is part of Etsy’s Cyber Sale 2020. In my shop you can get between 10%-20% on almost everything in the shop with free domestic shipping on orders over $35.
The one exception to our sale is that we couldn’t discount our Robert Allen Ming Dragon fabric as it cost so much to source and has been difficult and time consuming to acquire. But it’s a beautiful design that’s in high demand, so you should check it out. And unlike some other places where you might find it online, we ship for free!
Okay, but what else is new?
Sadly I haven’t been able to list many more vintage fabrics, though it’s not for lack of stock. If anything we’re busting at the seams with new OLD fabrics…it’s just some other things needed to be prioritized for the time being. So if you’re one of my many fabric customers, fear not — more amazing vintage fabric is coming soon!
In the meantime, we have nearly 200 high-end vintage decorator fabric samples and other vintage and discontinued fabrics in the shop right now and they’re all gorgeous!
New To You
What we have been adding is this:
First, we’ve added all of our own handmade Christmas stockings, which are grandmillennial to the maximalist! 🙂 Each one is lovingly handmade in house using antique and vintage fabrics, all of which have a luxury feature like rich damask or brocade, velvet, unique colors and trims, etc. There are only nine of the ones we made, so if you want to take your Christmas stocking game up to the next level this year, then you’ll want to get them while they last.
We’ve also added a lot of vintage Christmas decor and such charming vintage Christmas cards, including ones with Santas, churches, wreaths, and more. We also offer a Christmas Card Service where you buy the charming vintage card and we write your message, address and send it for you.
Fashionistas
Finally we’re adding a small amount of vintage clothing to the shop, especially when it’s couture, or otherwise unique. For example we’ve added a 1960s Van Ziang coat, a 1990s Krista Larson paisley peplum jacket, a lovely pink Malia of Honolulu maxi dress (vintage size 10) as well as an Alfred Werber maxi dress, (size 6), both from the 1960s.
There are also two fabulous sheath dresses from the 1990s that were both channelling the 1960s. One by J Crew and one by Talbots.
We continue to have an amazingly unique collection of vintage handkerchiefs, vintage aprons, and a few vintage bags. Our sale lasts through Tuesday December, 2, and we will ship right up until Christmas Eve Mondays-Saturdays. Orders received by 10am on Saturdays will go out that day.
