A beautiful setting in which to have a drink but the old school charm is marred by modern day TVs blaring sports and news.
I’ve only visited the Grandin neighborhood location, but it was impressively sized and well stocked with natural & organic foods, beer & wine, bakery & deli.
From gracious and accommodating service to off-the-charts food combinations and flavors, this is one Virginia destination restaurant not to miss.
It may be way out there but this brewery is worth the drive for their great logo, beer label designs, and solid flavor. However, an in-town taproom would help.
They may have a truly sucky website, which can create doubts, but when it comes to making mind-blowing meals, Local Roots tops the charts in Roanoke.
For a local place in the heart of Roanoke one would expect better, more local food, a sharper presentation, and an updated interior. I found none of these.
